The U.S. Senate just voted to end the GOP-led government shutdown. The vote was 81-18, one of the most bipartisan votes held in the upper chamber in recent months. And yes, eighteen U.S. Senators voted to continue the shutdown. And yes, all of them were Republicans.

Millions were affected, directly or indirectly. The U.S. lost $24 billion in estimated economic activity.

Was your Senator one of those who voted to continue the shutdown? Remember the Senators on this list whenever they’re up for re-election. And let them know today how you feel.

I did. I thanked them for their efforts to stop the idiocy that has infested Washington DC for far too long. Especially Ted Cruz, because that's exactly what we elected him to do. And we will all vote for him again.

Keep voting against his type. The tide will turn.
