Maggie Gallagher, co-founder and former Chair of NOM, the National Organization For Marriage, tonight at 6:00 PM ET will be debating John Corvino, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Wayne State University, in an event streamed live and hosted by David Blankenhorn, President of the Institute for American Values.
We’ll try to embed the video here, but in case that’s not an option, you can watch for free, live, by clicking here, and going to the Center for Public Conversation of the Institute for American Values.
Frankly, if you watch/listen, be sure to bring a skeptical eye/ear. The odds for truthfulness, a grasp of real issues, and a secular point of view, given the participants, are not in our favor.
The event is in part to market their new book, Debating Same-Sex Marriage.

Gallagher's propagandistic, passive-aggressive, P.R. stunt of a question is exactly why I am opposed to people like Corvino collaborating with her on books and appearances. She is a vicious lying bigot; Corvino gives her the opportunity to accuse her victims of "shouting." As if all were sweetness and light and good intentions, when, for example, Gallagher lies at a Congressional hearing. Gallagher has told anti-gay lies to Congress.
