The NRA is now waging an all-out offensive. After going totally silent after last Friday’s Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, the NRA issued a statement three days ago announcing they were “were shocked, saddened and heartbroken by the news of the horrific and senseless murders in Newtown,’ and claiming they are “prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again.”

At 10:45 AM ET  11:00 AM ET (just changed by the NRA) we’ll hear what those “meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again” sound like.

Arming teachers is likely one of the “meaningful contributions” that should be rejected immediately.
