A five year old boy who was forcibly taken off a stopped Alabama school bus is alive, and his 65-year old kidnapper is now dead. The man, James Lee Dykes, described as “paranoid,” a Vietanm vet with possible psychological issues, and a “survivalist,” shot to death the school bus driver last Tuesday, and has been in an underground bunker with the unidentified five year old since.

Minutes ago authorities announces Dykes is dead, after an explosion was heard on the Alabama property.

No further details have been released.
