Ann Coulter last night went on Fox News and, speaking to Sean Hannity about President Obama and gun control, said, “screw you” to the President. During the almost seven minute interview, Coulter also accused the President of lying, and the New York Times of lying.
She also, incorrectly, claims the only people who don’t undergo background checks at gun shows are collectors.

Coulter wants to ensure there’s no question whatsoever about the target of her attack, as some responsible journalists took the exchange to mean Coulter was addressing the media, not the Commander In Chief.
“The Daily Caller reached out to Coulter, the author of ‘Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama,’ to ask whom exactly she said should screw itself, himself or herself,” the Daily Caller reports:
“Obama — and anyone else who says that those of us who don’t support ridiculous gun laws ‘aren’t serious about saving children’ (or whatever Obama said to that effect),” Coulter said in an email to TheDC. “I think this was obvious from what I said right before — paraphrasing Obama’s point saying that — and immediately afterwards — when I said THEY’RE the ones who don’t care about children because they refuse to do anything about the mentally ill.”
By the way, Coulter mentioned (not by name0 Jamie Lee Dykes, the now dead 65-year old who kidnapped a five-year old boy and held him hostage for almost a full week, as evidence of the need to include mental health issues in the gun control debate.
What Coulter conveniently refuses to mention is Dykes was a Vietnam vet suffering from mental illness (likely). The GOP consistently cuts federal funding for VA hospitals.

Now in all fairness, we can't expect Annie (or any of the far right) to take responsibility for the results of the budget cuts they pushed through. That would be too much like rational thought. It's much easier to just blame Obama and move on…
