“If I had to put it at an equation I think there’s still a good 10% to 20% chance,” President Obama is not an American, said State Senator Steve Smith (R-AZ) tonight to Chris Matthews on Hardball, despite the news that today President Obama released his actual, real, long-form birth certificate.
Smith, a hard-core birther, is the author of an Arizona birther bill. Watch the entire ludicrous interview for a slam-dunk birther-bashing of Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips. Phillips, you’ll remember, was the subject of today’s piece, “Tea Party Blames Gun Control For Transgender Woman’s McDonald’s Beating.”

Note: Smith was wrongly identified in an earlier version of this article as a Nevada Senator. He is an Arizona Senator.

He's from ARIZONA, not NEVADA.
You are correct. Updated. Thank you!
You may also want to fix the 'a' before that.

Ahhh… Long day. Thank you! Fixed that, too!
I actually think Chris makes a fool of himself in this interview by talking over these d-bags and not giving them a chance to actually speak their point of view, dumb as it may be. Judson Phillips' comment that "anything is possible" is actually an exaggerated use of a figure of speech. Phillips believes the birth certif and admits it here, but Matthews is so determined to persecute these two for their stupidity that he also will not see that Phillips has changed his tune and tone. Matthews is letting is passions get the better of his logic here.
This is a very sad day for America … where the President of the United States has to prove that he is who he says he is. No other President has ever been asked to endure such an experience¬.
Many do not realize that Pres. Obama had to ask for an exception (through his attorney) from the State of Hawaii in order to have the long-form Birth Certificat¬e released (that's the law of Hawaii). Anyone applying for a copy of their Birth Certificat¬e is officially issued the "short form" — that is the OFFICIAL proof of birth.
Regardless … we forget that he is a fellow American, a husband and a Dad. Can yall imagine what it must have been like for him and his family?
This is disgracefu¬l at best and UN-American at its core!
