The Boy Scouts of America, who last week stated they were strongly considering dropping their national ban on gays, just announced they will not drop the ban right now, but will vote in May. In a statement, the Scouts claimed the intense pressure they received from Americans convinced them to delay the decision and put it to a vote when their national board meets in May.
This is a breaking new story — more details soon.

Sure. No rush. Keep allowing boys to feel less-than. No harm. Right??
Kids are DYING because they're told they are SH!T!!
The Boy Scouts have a great opportunity to help CHANGE this.
DO IT NOW!!
DAMN!
This is indicative of how spineless the BSA truly is. They have been hurt considerably with the loss of funding from corporate sponsors. Now, they're trying to hold onto whatever support they still have from the religious right wing bigots who agree with their discriminatory policies. Eventually, they'll have to do what's right. BSA, end your discrimination NOW!
