Republican Scott Brown, trounced by Elizabeth Warren in his November bid to retain his U.S. Senate seat, just announced he will not run for the Senate seat opened by John Kerry’s appointment to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.

Rumors are he may be eyeing the Governor’s House instead.
