Post image for Vatican Gay Prostitution Sex Scandal! Surprise!

Member of the Pope’s household caught in gay male prostitution sex scandal during corruption investigation.

Well, this should come as no surprise to anyone — Hypocrisy and gay sex in Vatican City! It seems a 29-year-old Vatican chorister was fired after he allegedly procured gay male prostitutes for Angelo Balducci, a “Gentleman of His Holiness,” who works as a “ceremonial usher of the papal household,” according to The Guardian, which reports,

“[A] Gentleman of His Holiness, was caught by police on a wiretap allegedly negotiating with Thomas Chinedu Ehiem, a 29-year-old Vatican chorister, over the specific physical details of men he wanted brought to him. Transcripts in the possession of the Guardian suggest that numerous men may have been procured for Balducci, at least one of whom was studying for the priesthood.

“The explosive claims about Balducci’s private life have caused grave embarrassment to the Vatican, which has yet to publicly comment on the affair.”

The wiretaps were used in a corruption investigation.

“It was during this investigation into corruption that wiretaps revealed his alleged sexual activity. In one conversation, Ehiem tells Balducci: “I saw your call when I was in the Vatican, because I was doing rehearsals … in the choir … in St Peter’s.” He then suggests Balducci meet a man who he describes is “two metres tall … 97 kilos … aged 33, completely active.”

“Balducci is also a senior adviser to the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, the department that oversees the Roman Catholic church’s worldwide missionary activities.”

Seriously, when are we going to say, “enough!” This week alone we’ve seen massive hypocrisy, like anti-gay California Senator Roy Ashburn’s drunk driving arrest after leaving a gay bar with another man, and Governor David Paterson’s imminent resignation (hopefully) after attempting to influence a domestic abuse victim.

Pam Spaulding comments,

“So will Papa Ratzi turn a blind eye to one of his boyz pimping and man ho’ ing around? Is there any other less-than-holy behavior this criminal pedophile priest protection enterprise hasn’t engaged in as it piously hatemongers against LGBTs?”

Joe.My.God says,

“I can’t fucking wait to hear how Ill Papa tries to wriggle out of THIS one!”

All I can say is, Good Lord!

Is There a Place for Gay People in Conservatism and Conservative Politics?

The debate, which [...]

Success! No “Breakfast” For “Kill The Gays” Author Bahati!
The author of Uganda’s “Kill The Gays” bill isn’t coming to breakfast. David Bahati will not attend the National Prayer Breakfast on February 4. There’s little information to go on, and it’s unclear if he was “disinvited” as Joe.My.God put it, or if he, indeed, had declined [...]
