Chris Christie has been getting slammed for the past 24 hours after delivering the keynote speech at Tuesday night’s Republican National Convention that MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow called “one of the most remarkable acts of political selfishness I have ever seen.”

Tonight, Governor Christie spoke with CNN’s Piers Morgan and told him “I don’t understand that” people think his speech was selfish.
