Religious GOP Conservative Congressional Candidate Posts Screenshot With Porn Sites to Facebook
Wait Until You Hear His Excuse
U.S. congressional Republican hopeful Mike Webb says he is a “Conservative” whose favorite book is the Bible. He is a self-described “Baptist Sinner Saved By Grace,” whose “favorite movie moment is Barbara Streisand singing ‘My Man,’ at the end of Funny Girl.” Monday afternoon on Facebook Webb posted a screenshot with some extra information for his fans: porn sites he visits, which were visible in the tabs of his web browser:
Gawker reports those sites include “IVONE SEXY AMATEUR†and “LAYLA RIVERA TIGHT BOOTY,†according to a Google search they performed.Â
Webb is undeterred and unapologetic.Â
In a follow up post – yes, the original is still up – that spans nearly 2000 words, Webb claims it was all an elaborate, intentional scheme. In “SEE HOW DIRTY YOU ARE?,” he writes, in part:Â
“Curious by nature, I wanted to test the suggestion that somehow, lurking out in the pornographic world there is some evil operator waiting for the one in a gazillion chance that a candidate for federal office would go to that particular website and thereby be infected with a virus that would cause his or her FEC data file to crash the FECfile application each time that it was loaded on the day of the filing deadline, as well as impact other critical campaign systems.”
