Saturday night’s GOP Debate, sponsored by CBS and the National Journal, focused on foreign relations and billed as the “Commander In Chief” debate. Apparently, many didn’t care for the format, the moderators, or the topic.
But next Saturday night, just days before Thanksgiving, the GOP will hold another Republican and Tea Party debate, and it promises to be a doozy!
Streaming live, straight (and I mean, “straight”) to you from the First Federated Church in Des Moines, Iowa, and sponsored by Bob Vander Plaats’ The Family Leader — the folks who brought you this election cycle’s “Marriage Vow,” — you can be sure that God, Guns, and Gays, along with abortion and religious freedom” will be the central topics. And that should make for an interesting cornucopia of controversy. Remember, the GOP is furious — FURIOUS — that same-sex marriage equality is the law of the land in Iowa, especially since it was enacted by those damn activist Supreme Court judges!
Add to this the fact that (sorry, but,) both Mormons, Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman, have yet to confirm their participation, and one can only wonder what’s in store.
Be sure to be home next Saturday, November 19, at 5:00 PM ET for a whopper. The tag line is, “All great change in America begins at the dinner table.” Ronald Reagan said that…

I hope they keep talking about the gays, especially the really bright candidates like Rick Santorum. The more they say on this topic, the more backlash I see across broad swaths of the American public. The ignorence, hate and lies being spread by the right wing might still fly with Southern Baptists and Mormons, but even Catholics are starting to realize that marraige equality is no threat to anyone but a bigot.
So go ahead gang, keep telling everyone that gays can't raise a family, can't have loving commited relationships, don't deserve the same rights as straight tax payers, and oh ya, we like having sex with dogs. Because anyone that has actually ever met a gay, lived next door to one, had one for a brother, sister, son or daughter or actually is gay, will violently rebuke you in the court of public opinion, and at the polls. The tide of history has already changed, all the haters can do now is increase the volume of their increasingly desperate lies, and try to delay things as long as possible as the country embraces equality for all of its citizens.
Personally I don't care if you call it marraige or you call it a potted palm — all I want is the same rights and benefits guaranteed to everyone else under the constitution. If the only reason you want to keep me a second class citizen is because God Hates Fags, well then I am sorry we do not live in a theocracy, thank God. And increasingly God Hates Fags is the only reason the haters and the bigots have to explain themselves.
Please allow the rightwing T-pod-repugs to make fools of themselves. They've alienated themselves so far off the election radar screen, they couldn't win a major election if they had no opponents. So let them be a no-show all by themselves. It will be fun watching them!
We all know what the debate will entail. The problem is this is used to get more and more republicans to the polls. They will used the Gay Agenda whatever that is as the reason to get out the votes. I'm gay and I have no idea what that agenda is other than my rights as an American Citizen to marry the guy I love
Hi Everyone,
The RNC has been complicit in the marginalization of Dr. Paul, as well as the media blackout. We all know this. I have set up a little website to bring attention to this fact and to help Dr. Paul. It is not the kind of thing he would do (in fact he couldn't even acknowledge it without being summarily expelled from the GOP), but it IS the kind of thing I would do, ESPECIALLY after the last debate where Dr. Paul got a whole 90 seconds to speak. This must stop and by God it WILL stop, and YOU'RE going to help me stop it!
Go to http://RonPaulPromise.com and sign up please, and spread the word. I set up the site myself it has no ads and no profit, just a labor of love in defense of Dr. Paul.
