Ellen DeGeneres spoke yesterday with Clint Eastwood about his speech to the RNC convention, his libertarian beliefs, and same-sex marriage. “Part of the libertarian idea — leave everybody alone,” Eastwood tells Ellen in response to her mentioning gay marriage. Eastwood suggests “worrying about what everyone thinks” about same-sex marriage isn’t “worthy” — given the financial issues confronting the nation — which is not to say that he thinks it should not be enacted, merely, questioning why people care to spend time fighting it.

I just watched this and found that his liberitarian ways are much better than the Republican's version! Although I still think he's a bit senile, he makes a good point about "staying out of other people's business"!
