Bryan Fischer Friday claimed 60 years of liberalism are to blame for the Aurora, Colorado shooting massacre that took twelve lives and wounded 58 others. Fischer, the public face of the certified anti-gay hate group, American Family Association, and the far right wing are on a campaign to get the Bible back in schools.
“What if the 10 commandments were reinforced? ‘Thou shall not murder.’ What if that had been his daily dose of moral instruction and spiritual instruction. Who knows if things could have been different but we’ve tried it the other way …we’ve tried it the liberal’s way for 60 years now what have we got we have massacres in Aurora, 12 people shot dead while watching a movie in the mail at midnight.”
Brian Tashman at Right Wing Watch notes:
On Friday, American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer attempted to link the end of public school organized prayer to the Aurora, Colorado movie theater massacre, arguing that state-sponsored religious education would have prevented the shooting (even though James Holmes belonged to a San Diego church for 10 years). Similarly, AFA News Director Fred Jackson connected the media and progressive, gay-affirming churches to the massacre.

I'd like to ask Fischer how that repression is working out for him … and then tell him in no uncertain terms to FOCUS!!!
My own view on it I suppose comes to this. That he, as usual in my opinion, is being an absolute hypocrite in violation of the word he seems to hold so dear. The entire bit regarding judging others seems to have been completely left out of the version he reads, or conveniently omitted.
Lunatics with guns open fire on crowds of random strangers for one reason – because they're lunatics.
