Family Research Council senior fellow Peter Sprigg told CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien that “homosexuals already have all the same civil rights as anyone else – but the fact that all people are created equal as individuals does not mean all sexual behavior is equal or that all personal relationships have an equal value to society at large, serve the same public interest.”
The Family Research Council has been certified as an anti-gay hate group by the venerable Southern Poverty Law Center. Why CNN insists on inviting Peter Sprigg — the man whose comments almost single-handedly put FRC on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s hate group list — or his boss, Tony Perkins, to talk about the LGBT community or same-sex marriage equality is beyond comprehension.
Will CNN be inviting members of the KKK to talk about racism?

Sure, and the women gathering at Seneca Falls had the same voting rights all other women — to get married and try to influence their husband's votes.
It's unlikely Sprigg will sway the opinion of any CNN viewers. I'm quite fine with the network broadcasting his bigoted comments. It just helps reinforce the absurdity of it all. His ignorance is on display for all to see…
I would have loved to see Sprigg say the same thing looking Anderson Cooper in the eye.
