"Critical Mass" — Is Gay Republican The New Black?

Post image for Governor Lynch, Did You Let New Hampshire’s Gay Marriage Bill Slide Into Law?

Five Day Rule Began Last Wednesday?

By law, in the state of New Hampshire, the governor has five days, not including Sundays, from the date a bill reaches his desk, to sign or veto a bill. If he does neither, it automatically becomes law.

The New Hampshire Union Leader reported on Thursday, May 7,

“The New Hampshire House yesterday sent the gay marriage bill to Gov. John Lynch for signature, voting to agree with Senate changes to the bill.”

Which means, if their reporting is correct, that, as there has been no report the governor has taken any action on the bill, that as of right now, New Hampshire has legalized gay marriage.

So, Governor Lynch, did you let the gay marriage bill slide into law?

Unless I missed it, the bill hasn't been officially enrolled (meaning the bill needs to be signed by legislative leaders and the secretary of state, THEN sent to the governor's office) yet; thus, it still can be vetoed.

If you have other info, please share! I'm just going of what the Union-Leader reported. They're pretty credible.
