Olympic gold medal champion Greg Louganis is getting married to his partner, paralegal Johnny Chaillot who works for a prominent L.A. law firm. “I finally met my soul mate – the more I fall in love with Johnny, the more I fall in love with myself. This is what the universe had in store for both of us,” Louganis, told People magazine.
Louganis, an icon in the LGBT community and the sports world, won four gold medals in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games along with more than a dozen gold medals in other competitions, is 53 and lives in Malibu, California. Recently, Louganis was the Dive Master on ABC’s “Splash,” and mentored the U.S. Olympic team at the London 2012 Games. He has also worked with HRC, and published an autobiography, Breaking the Surface.
