Keep in mind that the only “ideas” radical conservative activists like Boehner have for fixing the mess Republicans made is “cut taxes” and “deregulate.” Two of the things which already failed and got us into our present mess.

Completely devoid of any other ideas, the Party of No would welcome a “debate” on DADT so they could focus the attention on something else and mask their real goal of making Obama “fail.”

I thought the same when I heard his statement – if he felt we wouldn't be served by having that particular debate, why was he bringing it up? I don't think we need to have a debate about eating kittens.
