Last night we watched Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC special: “Hubris: Selling The Iraq War.” It was compelling, frightening, extremely upsetting, and, while it revealed little we didn’t already know, it was a timely and stark reminder of the pathology and socio-pathology of the Bush-Cheney brain.
In point of fact, Bush and Cheney knowingly and willingly lied to get America to start the Iraq war, which left over 4000 service men and women dead, over 100,000 Iraqi civilians dead, cost over $1 trillion, and was waged on manufactured and false “evidence.”
And they should be in jail.
Maddow, who narrates the documentary, which is based on the book Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War by Michael Isikoff and David Corn is truly must-see TV.
Here, the first three of six parts of the documentary.
Please, watch, remember, and share. History repeats itself, far too often.

Much as I'd like to see these people tried and jailed, I would much prefer to see all the banking hucksters and those on wall street go to jail. I feel that they're the worse offenders aka snakes. With Iraq behind us and no sign of the Bush, Cheney and Dumsfeld stooges, getting justice won't bring back the 4,000 who lost their lives back to their families. I want to see justice taken against the CEOs from the TBTF banks and then break down those huge conglomerates into far smaller and manageable financial structures.
