What if you came out and no one believed you? Gay Mormon, Jimmy Hales, recorded the reactions of his friends and family as he tries to convince them he is, really, truly, actually, happily gay. If you can use a smile, have a peek…

Smile? He is just another sad, brainwashed, self-loathing religious freak. And he is part of the new Mormon PR campaign. The one that says you can be gay and Mormon, but you have to celibate all your life.
I wouldn't call him a freak but he still is stuck in the Mormon hivemind of BYU. He truly believes that he should live a celibate life. He seems alright with it, resigning himself to be alone all his life. Its sad but hopefully once he graduates and actually lives in the real world his views will evolve ever further. Unfortunately his videos have spread all over the web and might "inspire" other LGBT Mormons to life a life of celibacy.
Not one positive comment on The Advocate about this video. It's just sad and pathetic. Good luck with living that celibate life of yours, big guy!
At least one of Jimmy's buddies (in this video) is also Gay. The best part of this video is when Jimmy encourages his viewers to come out in their own way and in their own time. For sure, the world is changing in positive ways regarding Gay human beings, especially among the young. Yes, even among the Mormon young. This video and Jimmy are positive influences for Mormon youth.
