In a bizarre addition to his stump speech, Donald Trump said Saturday that the candidates should take a drug test before the final presidential debate next week.Â
Some observers, including former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, have suggested Trump used cocaine prior to the first debate, because he was constantly sniffing and drinking large amounts of water.Â
But at a rally in New Hampshire on Saturday, Trump accused Clinton of “getting pumped up” before the second debate.Â
“Athletes, they make them take a drug test,” Trump said. “I think we should take a drug test prior to the debate. Why don’t we do that? We should take a drug test, because I don’t know what’s going on with her, but at the beginning of our last debate, she was all pumped up at the beginning, but at the end … she could barely reach her car. So I think we should take a drug test. Anyway, I’m willing to do it.”Â
“I think (sniff) we should (sniff) take a drug test (stiff) before the next debate (sniff). I don’t know (sniff) what’s going on with her.”
