Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday, attacking a Politico claim that President Obama’s campaign is attempting to position Mitt Romney as the candidate of “old, straight, white men,” asked his listeners, “so does that mean you should vote for Obama because he’s a young, black, gay man?” Limbaugh then spoke in a wispy, mocking voice possibly attempting to mimic his idea of a gay man.
“Obama’s campaign wants to turn Romney into the candidate of old straight white men,” Limbaugh said. “So does that mean you should vote for Obama because he’s a young black gay man?”
“So Romney is to be tarred and feathered, Romney is to be not supported, Romney is to be voted against, because he’s the candidate of old, straight, white men.”
“What does that make Obama, the candidate of young, black, gay men? Where’s the tolerance, where’s the openness, where’s the compassion, where is the understanding?”
