Democratic Senator Believes In “Traditional Values,” Doesn’t Want To “Redefine What We Hold Most Dear”
New Jersey Senator John Girgenti says he believes in letting the public “weigh in,” in a “non-binding referendum,” on same-sex marriage. In case the Senator hasn’t heard, there’s such a thing in place. It’s called a poll, and New Jerseyans already have “weighed in,” in favor of same-sex marriage.
The Senator says he believes in full equality, just not in marriage equality. Listen as he dances around the issue like a Republican. He needs to switch parties. He has no business being a Democrat.
As the NJ Senate Majority Whip (one who is in charge of ensuring attendance and votes,) it’s no wonder the gay marriage bill didn’t pass. He voted against it.

"Strikes at who we are" huh? Quite clearly, who you are Senator, is a bigot. You think others should have the same rights, just not this one. Apparently someone needs to go look up the definition of "same". It's not the "same" if it's different!
And what's with the "non-binding" idea? What would be the point of that? This guy is an idiot and doesn't deserve to hold office in EITHER party with a comment like that.
