Reps. David Cicilline and Jerrold Nadler introduce the DOMA repeal bill
A bill to repeal DOMA, the ban of federal recognition of same-sex marriages, was introduced into the House just moments ago. Rep. Jerrold Nadler has put together a group of 102 Representatives, including Reps. Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, openly-gay Reps. Barney Frank, John Conyers, Tammy Baldwin, Jared Polis and freshman David Cicilline.

Nadler, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, has attempted this before, but feels it has a greater chance of passage this year, although most believe in a Republican-held House the bill will not pass, even if it does get to a floor vote.
