Michele Bachmann Explains How Shutdown Ended: ‘Republicans Were The Adults In The Room’

Michele Bachmann‘s grasp on reality is getting weaker by the day. The Minnesota Congresswoman, who will retire at the end of her term in January, 2015, has an interesting perspective on how the GOP-created government shutdown ended.

“I voted ‘no’ on the bill because this means that Barack Obama got a hundred percent of what he wanted. His stand from the very beginning was no negotiation,” Bachmann, head of the House Tea Party Caucus, told Fox News’ Sean Hannity last night.

Let’s remember for a moment that the Tea Party is who created the shutdown and brought our nation to the brink of default.

Bachmann then claimed that the President “rolled the dice,” and was “willing to let the country default,” because “he knew the Republicans were willing to be the adults in the room to make sure the county didn’t go into default.”

But, Bachmann promises, “we’re not taking our marbles and going home.” Oh no, she and her compatriots will be around and “fight, until we actually see the will of the people will prevail.”

Then Hannity spoke with Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar of Texas, who, frankly, embarrassed himself as a Democrat. But better we have a Democrat in Texas than a Republican…

Of course not, Tea Party Republicans and especially Bachman, haven't been able to find their marbles for years. Oh, and most of their screws either.

She has a constituency that believes what she says because of the way she says it.

They also have bad short term memories as she said black is white today but said white is black last week.
