James Robison, a leader in the early days of Jerry Falwell‘s “Moral Majority,” says that staying silent on the issue of same-sex marriage ”would be like stepping back when suddenly the public has decided to allow pedophiles to play in the public parks and there was nothing we could do about it because we refused to take a stand.”
Robison, who was actually removed from his televangelism show in 1979 for calling homosexuality a sin, is the founder and President of the Christian media organization Life Outreach International.
Right Wing Watch, who published the video of Robison below, in another article notes that Robison:
- Believes same-sex marriage will ultimately lead to a “totalitarian” government like in The Hunger Games.
- Says that wealthy capitalists are victims of a form of “racism” similar to what African Americans experienced during the Jim Crow era and victims of an attack from the demonic realm.
- Thinks that Satan is using Glee to “bring us down.”
