A National Same-Sex Kiss Day At Chick-Fil-A has been announced for just two days after Mike Hiuckabee‘s National Eat at Chick-fil-A Day. Carly McGehee announced the kiss-in via Facebook.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock this week you’ll have noticed that Chick Fil A has officially come out against the LGBTQ community. (For those of you who have been living under a rock, or just want to read it again, here’s the article http://www.latimes.com/business/money/la-fi-mo-chick-fil-a-gay-marriage-20120719,0,5713061.story)
In honor of their support for love, equality, and the real definition of family, we’re holding a NATIONAL Same Sex Kiss Day at Chick Fil A’s around the country. So grab a friend (or 20) and head out to your nearest Chick Fil A! And don’t forget to post photos/videos of it here! For all the world to see!

Seems people are very passionate about Chick-Fil-A, and both Huckabee’s event hand this one are drawing a great deal of attention.
August is shaping up to be an exciting week for the folks at Chick-Fil-A.
As the creator and co-founder of 2009′s Great Nationwide Kiss-In, I’d like to offer my endorsement of this action.

Final note: It’s I’m portent that we not let the message be twisted by the right. Chick-Fil-A isn’t being attacked just because their president says they adhere to biblical values. They’re under intense scrutiny because they’ve donated $5 million to anti-gay organizations and certified hate groups that are actively working to deny LGBT people their civil rights.
It’s one thing to be for or against something. It’s another to drop $5 million to deny an entire class of citizens their rights.

There is a fine line to be observed so that this does not turn into hating a hate group, otherwise you become what you are opposed to. They need to be exposed, ridiculed, ostracised, and deprived of what they value most: money, from sales of their tainted product. In America speaking with your wallet speaks volumes.
They (we) need to know Jesus.
Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy hates no one. Shame on you for twisting the truth. Dan Cathy stands firmly on the word of God. What he has shared is not his opinion…it's his Bible. May I lovingly suggest that you open the Bible to discover the grace, mercy, and love that Jesus the Christ freely offers to all who will receive. This is the Jesus (and His word the Bible) upon which Dan Cathy stands. What you see as hate is in reality a message of love.
There are many reasons to boycott Chick-Fil-A – starting with the fact that they promote and profit from animal abuse. The fact that they are also homophobic shouldn't come as a surprise. What is surprising is how blind the organizers of this event are to their own hypocrisy: demanding fair
treatment for gays while simultaneously participating in the exploitation and oppression of nonhuman animals. Homophobia, racism, sexism, speciesism…they are all linked. It's interesting to note that Cathy's rationale for justifying his homophobia is the same one used by so many to justify their needless consumption of animals: because "the Bible" tells us so.
