Firefighters from Newtown, Connecticut, and elsewhere, have formed a human shield to block the promised picket by the Westboro Baptist Church, who call themselves “God Hates Fags.” The WBC promised to picket the funerals of the 20 children and six adults who were killed in Friday’s Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.
The Westboro Baptist Church announced they would be present in Newtown specifically to attend today’s funeral of Newtown’s beloved hero, Sandy Hook Principal Dawn Hochsprung.
Anonymous, the Internet hacktivist collective, took WBC’s websites down, and promised to help in Newtown also.

Thanks to the firefighters and others who blocked the mourners from the morons.
Where in Christianity is hate-mongering an involved practice? What are Fred Phelps and the WBC afraid of anyhow? Rainbows? Unicorns? A flaming pink queer apocalypse? The Westboro Baptist Cult is nothing but an evil, vicious, loud, obnoxious disgusting Cult.

Again these brave men and women are helping the families of the dead. The protesters are only pushing violence against anyone who doesn't agree with a philosophy of life. The fact is are they truly christian? Doesn't say though shall not kill? John 7:53-8:11 Let Him Who Is Without Sin Cast the First Stone is this not a teaching of the christian faith. No one, can say they are perfect. And for this group.. to push forth their belief on people during a time when we should so reserve and respect, is unfathomable. How would they feel if someone ripped apart their little community. I don't wish ill on anyone. But Maybe it time for God to look and cast Judgement on this group of morons and leave the families of the dead alone.
May they bless the firemen and women and police force for doing something beyond their duty. Thank you.
