Gallup this afternoon, hours before the debate, released a survey titled “Kenyans’ Leadership Approval Lower Than Before Last Election.” Of course, I’m certain the timing of this survey, which could have been released at any time, is purely coincidental, as is the fact that, while Gallup does cover Kenya, they have never included news about Kenya in the emails they send to me.

It does, however, feed right into the birther movement’s meme perfectly.

After last night’s right wing racist assault, from Drudge, Hannity, Fox, Carlson, the Daily Caller, and Breitbart, this is just purely tone deaf.

At the very least.
