Equestrian Lee Pearson from Great Britain is the first out and proud Paralympian to medal in the 2012 London Games. Lee, who is already the winner of 9 gold Paralympics medals from prior games, captured the silver medal in the equestrian event known as the Individual Championship Test. Riding a horse named Gentleman, Lee narrowly lost the gold to Australia’s Joann Formosa. Austria’s Pepo Puch took the bronze.
Lee has two more chances to add to his impressive medal total this week in other individual and team equestrian events. The British equestrian team, led by Lee, is defending their record of five consecutive titles, which is unmatched in Paralympics history.

Woohoooo! What a beautiful steed and handsome gentleman……er, the human, not the horse, even tho that's his name. LOL
Betcha if Lee Pearson requested a $70k tax break for the horse, he'd be laughed off the planet. Ah, the arrogance amongst certain rich people who want to own this country. *eyeroll*
