Last night, Cenk Uygur, and Laura Bassett at Current TV discussed yesterday’s bombing of a Wisconsin Planned Parenthood clinic and labeled it “domestic terrorism.”
“I feel like every time there’d an attack it’s always swept under the rug. ‘Oh, it’s a lone incident.’ I don’t know how 59,000 cases are ‘lone incidents’,” Cenk Yugar said.
“I can’t think of anything less pro-life than putting a bomb outside of a health clinic,” said Bassett. “This happens all the time.”
Cenk added, “It’s domestic terrorism, and legislators are encouraging it when they do things like publishing information about those doctors, like ‘go get them.’”
He also criticized media reports for calling bombes at clinics “homemade,” and asked, “Have you ever seen a media report when a Muslim puts a bomb somewhere and they go, ‘Well, don’t worry about it, it was just homemade’.”
In fact, the Chicago Tribune’s report on the Planned Parenthood bombing yesterday was titled, “Small device detonates outside Wisconsin Planned Parenthood clinic.”
The device appeared to be homemade and was placed on a
window sill at the Appleton North Health Center in Grand Chute,
Wisconsin, and exploded at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, police said
in a statement.

Yeah, Rick Santorum says all the right things for a politician. His rhetoric has contributed to this kind of violence against those who provide a vital health care service to women. He is disgusting and disgraceful. He's ignorant, and he's not worthy to run for public office. There's a reason why he lost so badly in 2006. Why would we ever cast a vote for this LOSER now?
