Despite his ties to The Family and Uganda, Pastor Rick Warren has generally stayed above the fray of other radical right wing religious zealots, enough to get him invited to the White House and other A-List events that keep his credibility high enough to keep the cash rolling into his Saddleback megachurch. Until now. Out of the blue, unprovoked, and for no apparent reason, Warren took to Twitter around 4:00 AM this morning and sounded off — like the Spanish Inquisition — and started attacking “liberal theology.”
