In what would be a shocking display of racism if it came from any other person, Rush Limbaugh yesterday told his listeners that Mitt Romney got booed while speaking at the NAACP because he’s white and they’re ignorant.

A few excerpts from Limbaugh’s radio show yesterday:
Now, by the way, this Snow White business, that’s not me. I’m projecting. I’m saying that’s how he’s viewed inside the NAALCP convention.
Romney goes in there today, and he sounded like Snow White with Testicles. That’s not what this bunch wants to hear.
They don’t know what’s in [Obamacare.] They don’t care what’s in it. All they know is it’s Obama’s plan, and here comes Snow White with Testicles in there ripping it to shreds, and so they’re booing him.

Rush Limbaugh said Mitt Romney’s speech Wednesday to the NAACP fell flat because it was “over these people’s heads” and that the group booed the Republican candidate, who “sounded like Snow White with testicles,” simply because he’s white.

Limbaugh portrayed the crowd at the NAACP’s annual convention in Houston as ignorant of what was good for them and susceptible to pandering from Obama and other Democratic politicians.
“This group wants to hear about tax increases and bigger government to take care of people,” he said, according to a transcript. “They don’t want to hear about self-reliance, they don’t want to hear about free enterprise. Free enterprise means you’ve gotta do it yourself. Free enterprise means it’s up to you. Free enterprise means you’re on your own. This group doesn’t want to hear that. I don’t think Romney got a single vote in here today.”
Limbaugh said Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have received standing ovations from black audiences by pandering. In contrast, Romney “sounded like Snow White with testicles. That’s not what this bunch wants to hear.”

“I would love to see somebody poll the conventioneers at the NAALCP and find out how many of them realize that they’re not getting free health care under Obamacare,” the conservative host continued. “That, in fact, they’re gonna be fined for not buying health insurance. I wonder how many of them know.” Limbaugh then cited “anecdotal” evidence from his “rich and powerful friends that owned and own businesses” that workers asked them after the Supreme Court decision if they would get free health care.

Really? Who is still supporting this lump of inhumanity? I want to know so that I can stay away from those products and services.
Limbaugh is an idiot. No doubt about it. But he is right about the affordable health care act. It is NOT free. It is a requirement that everyone must pay for. And if the NAACP thinks it is free or good for America, they are ignorant.
I am no proponent of the NAACP. I think they do far more harm to their 'cause' than good. They are just as political as every other group out there.They follow their party line just like republicans do. They definitely are not educating themselves on the AHCA and how it is really going to impact the American citizenry in the future and what it is doing now.
It is the blind following of the naked emperor on all sides that is creating the downslide of this country. But as long as the sheeple refuse to think for themselves, the powers to be have it made.
Unfortunately when Rush does have a valid point, which occasionally he does, he wraps it all up in crazy rhetoric and it gets lost. Same for all of the talking heads.
The NAACP, like many Civil-Rights era movements, has grown to be something beyond it's original intent. It's no longer about trying to assure equality for people of color, and more about supporting the "black" side of every issue. Even it's name is misleading. I cannot recall the last time I heard of the NAACP trying to throw their support towards correcting inequalities directed at Asians, Hispanics, or any other ethnicity besides people who are, well, black. I would say African American, but that fails to encompass Jamaicans. Also, it would include White African Americans, who the NAACP does not support in the least.
The push for equality has, in this case, become an organization that is more about supporting "their own."
