This is too horrible for words. Up to now (and living in Europe), I never knew that such a thing as ex-gay therapy EXISTED. This pseudo-scientist, George Seeker, should be put to trial for child abuse.
This sort of thing is terrifying. What really gets to me is those book covers. I remember seeing my Mom's friends with them while I was growing up! Good thing it never caught on in our house… yikes.
Jarrett, honestly in Europe we are not aware that such things really still exist. It is frightening to see, and it somehow explains why gay suicide statistics still are so high in America. I think it is hard enough to grow up being "different" all over the world, but book like these, people like Seeker make it harder still.
