UPDATE: 49er’s Chris Culliver Apologizes For Anti-Gay Comments — Sports Reporter Not Buying It
Sunday’s Super Bowl will include at least one anti-gay player: San Francisco 49er defensive back Chris Culliver, who says there are no gay players on his team — and there better not be.
“I don’t do the gay guys man. I don’t do that. No, we don’t got no gay people on the team, they gotta get up out of here if they do,” Culliver told Shock jock Artie Lange, who ran the radio interview last night.
“Can’t be with that sweet stuff. Nah…can’t be…in the locker room man. Nah.” Culliver also added that gay pro-ball players should wait 10 years after their career ends to come out.
The 49ers are playing the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday at Super Bowl XLVII.
Fortunately, the 49ers released a statement:
“The San Francisco 49ers reject the comments that were made [Tuesday], and have addressed the matter with Chris. There is no place for discrimination within our organization at any level. We have and always will proudly support the LGBT community.”

Ach, Chris Culliver!! What are you saying, man?? You are a role model. Don't teach hate or intolerance!! I think you should avoid microphones and just do your thing on the field.
