Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon has the cure for the War On Women. It’s called “WMD” and it certainly beats Bush’s. Remember those WMDs that Bush claimed he knew Iraq had? And then, never found them? These WMDs you can see. In fact, not only can you see them, you can’t miss them, and they can be explosive.
Do not watch this at work unless you own your own business. Even then, well, probably best to see this at home. With a loved one. We were going to title this, “Susan Sarandon’s WMD Beat Bush,” but there were too many ways to spin that. And someone would be upset. Trust us. We meant George W.
In all seriousness, Sarandon is doing this for a great cause, as she mentions at the end of the video. Because seriously, aren’t you sick of straight white men telling the world what to do?
Funny Or Die produced the video (we think?).
Join Susan Sarandon and head to The Unite Women Organization to find out more about the nationwide march on Saturday, April 28 and how to get involved in your area. The Unite Women Organization site, which is also on Facebook, notes:
A Call To Action To Defend Women’s Rights!
Help defend women’s rights and pursuit of equality. Join Americans all across the United States on April 28th, 2012, as we come together as one to tell members of Congress in Washington DC and legislators in all 50 states, “Enough is enough!” UniteWomen.org strongly supports diversity and welcomes men and women of all ages without regard to their race, color, creed, political affiliation, disability, religious or spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, education or income level, marital status, employment status, or immigrant status. Everyone is invited to join, plan, and rally as we unite to demand that every person be granted equal opportunities, equal rights, and equal representation.
We invite you to sign up for our new mailing list, and subscribe to The New Civil Rights Movement via email or RSS.
