Freshman Tea Party GOP Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (R-MI) at the Eagle Forum Collegians Friday afternoon compared same-sex marriage to polygamy, incest, marrying children, and even to a three-year old driving a car. Hartzler, 50, belongs to the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches, has an M.S. in Education, and owns a farm with her husband. (Hopefully, they are not planting different crops side by side.)
Hartzler is on the Committee on Armed Services and a member of Michele Bachmann’s Tea Party Caucus.
In 2004 Hartzler served as state spokeswoman for the anti-gay Coalition to Protect Marriage.

She is actually representing Missouri (MO), not Michigan.
