A new poll finds 45% of Americans say they are less likely to vote for Mitt Romney because of his ties to Donald Trump. Trump has been at the center of the birther movement since he toyed with actually running for president last year, and has propelled himself into the news cycle recently with renewed birther comments.

The poll, a Daily Kos/SEIU Weekly State of the Nation Poll by Public Policy Polling, also found a surprising 13% of Republicans, 18% of conservatives, and 7% of Tea Party members would vote for Barack Obama, and 11% of Democrats and 27% of moderates would vote for Mitt Romney.
The PPP poll also found only 26% of Americans have a favorable view of the job John Boehner is doing, and 34% of Americans approve of Democrats in Congress, but only 27% of Americans approve of Republicans in Congress.
To the question, “Would you rather that more Democrats or more Republicans were elected to Congress in the next election?,” 48% answered Democrats, 41% answered Republicans.

The ethics, values, and decisions that a candidate makes during a national campaign are a reflection of the choices that he/she will make if elected.
The fact that Mitt can't see the folly in embracing Trump (solely because he naively believes that The Donald can help him win in November), or engaging in puerile tactics such as sending hecklers to disrupt the opposition party's events, is indicative of the poor judgement that is at the core of Romney's psyche.
yup.
