Joe.My.God decided to reach out to George Rekers, and had an exchange with him, via Facebook. Then Joe went one step further and left a voicemail for “Lucien,” the rentboy.com prostitute that Rekers hired.
Rekers:
I have spent much time as a mental health professional and as a Christian minister helping and lovingly caring for people identifying themselves as “gay.” My hero is Jesus Christ who loves even the culturally despised people, including sexual sinners and prostitutes. Like Jesus Christ, I deliberately spend time with sinners with the loving goal to try to help them.

The problem with this, besides the obvious lying which is a sin, is that becoming a Christian has nothing to do with being gay. I'm a Christian gay man. There are thousands and thousands of Christians like me. Paid anti-gay activist Rekers tries to portray it as "either/or." It's not. Being a Christian has only strengthened my understanding of God's love for His gay children.
Professional anti-gay activists will always have the truth to contend with. They can hide it, lie about it, pretend it doesn't exist. But sooner or later, the Holy Spirit will force you to be the way God created you. And the harm you have caused others will suddenly be right there glaring in your astonished face. Rekers should do the right thing now and resign immediately from his paid career promoting the evil anti-gay agenda.
