A video recorded last year of a Republican state lawmaker being schooled by a teacher testifying about evolution and science has finally gone viral. The exchange, between Louisiana State Senator Mike Walsworth and a local unnamed school teacher today appeared on Gawker, after going viral thanks to sites like UpWorthy.
(Frankly, since it was a year old we weren’t going to post it when we came across it a few days ago, but, well, what the heck.)
The Senator cannot seem to grasp the concept of evolution, and is trying hard, since he only believes in creationism, to disprove it. He also thinks the idea behind evolution is that bacteria evolves into a human being, which, is ludicrous, but gives him the out to deny evolution is real. Get it?
“They were debating Senate Bill 374, aimed to repeal the Louisiana Science Education Act, which requires the teaching of creationism along with evolution in public schools,” Gawker notes, adding:
Of course it did.

Being myself an e coli, I resent the senator's remarks. He has not evolved.
Hmmmmm….the powerful and most omnipotent? *snicker* Might as well go to the top and say you're dengue or ebola or……well, there was a "Typhoid Mary." Wait! Is that a type of bacteria? Rhetorical.
People like that truly scare me….
Yes, Typhoidus Marianis, I know that germ well.
