‘It’s What Makes America Great’: Obama Trolls Trump, Invites Arrested Teen Clock Maker To White House
President Obama tweeted support for the 14-year old Texas teen who was arrested for making a clock, and invited him to the White House, because, science.
By now you’ve probably heard about Ahmed Mohammed, the 14-year old Irving, Texas student who made a clock, brought it to school, was arrested, handcuffed, interrogated, and fingerprinted because a teacher thought it might be a bomb.
This afternoon President Barack Obama, a huge science and education supporter, tweeted his support for Ahmed, and invited him to the White House.
Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what makes America great.

The President appeared to troll Donald Trump a bit too in his tweet, mocking the GOP presidential frontrunner’s claim he will “make America great again.”

It’s widely believed that had Ahmed been white and not Muslim, officials would have handled this matter entirely different.
