‘Homosexuality Is Bringing Hostility’ To America — ‘Keep It Private’ Says Star Parker
The Values Voters Summit got off to a raucous start this morning, with brash religious conservative extremist Star Parker, who told the crowd that homosexuality is bringing hostility to the pubic square. The syndicated columnist and failed GOP congressional candidate labeled liberals liars and “enemies of God,” who constantly urge conservatives, “smoke a little pot, take off your clothes in front of total strangers a little, give up your guns, give up your God and your disapproval of gays.” Parker  promised they never will.
Parker also called homosexuality “sexual behavior” which should be kept “private.” She claimed liberals have “declared a war on marriage which weakened women and opened a door to this new culture of meaninglessness — homosexuality is now dividing us and bringing hostility into the pubic square.”
Parker’s claim that homosexuality is “sexual behavior” is as false as claiming heterosexuality is “sexual behavior.” It’s a twisted lie, of course. Should heterosexuals keep their lives “private” too? That means no hand-holding or kissing in public — even on the cheek. No photos of your spouse or family on your desk at work. No wedding rings for anyone. No engagement or wedding announcements in the paper. No water cooler talk about what you and your date/husband/wife/partner/significant other did over the weekend. No inviting work friends or neighbors to your home for a baby shower.
The list this “small government conservative” has of “behavior” she thinks should be kept “private” is long, her obvious hatred of anything she dislikes is longer.

In 2011, Parker attacked President Barack Obama, suggested blacks in America want not equal treatment but “special treatment,†and called blacks the real racists. She also claimed that the black family in America under slavery “was more healthy than it is today.â€
